Writer's Block: Ten for the Tenth

[Error: unknown template qotd]

This is my kind of list. I don't know that I've been prepping my whole life for it, though. Still...

  1. Dusk--The The

  2. So Red the Rose--Arcadia

  3. Suzanne Vega--Suzanne Vega

  4. Welcome to the Beautiful South--The Beautiful South

  5. The Road to Ensenada--Lyle Lovett

  6. Short, Sharp, Shocked--Michelle Shocked

  7. Hopes and Fears--Keane

  8. El Oso--Soul Coughing

  9. Lincoln--They Might Be Giants

  10. English Settlement--XTC

  11. ETA: Sunshine on Leith--The Proclaimers. I heart them and am horrified I left them off.

This was really hard; there are so many albums that I love--and I tried to pick albums, not just collections of songs by artists I enjoy.

Oh yes, I do love Arcadia. Nick Rhodes+black hair=yum! :)

LOL--yes, very sexy that!

I actually agonized a bit over that one; I wanted one Duran Duran album, but when I thought about "albums," I had to admit that my favorite was SRTR. I love everything on it from start to finish!

Sometimes it's really hard to pick a fav Duran album...they're all pretty good; except Pop Trash...I didn't fancy that one.

I fail. I don't have a top 10 albums list.

I do have a top ten (and more) pieces of classical music list but that's hardly the same thing!

Mmmm, Arcadia...
