Seen on a Walk through Campus

The weather is just a wee bit cool, the sky is clear, the air is crisp. I had a good class today (we started talking about fanfiction.net, which wasn't entirely what I'd planned, and it was exciting) and I'm glad that I'm wearing pants with pockets today.



A riot of color made me take this photo. It's November 3 in Jackson, MS, and everywhere I look things are still green and growing.

That's very purdy! There's still a good amount of green leaves on the trees up here in New York but it's been pretty damn cold lately!

Our weather is getting cooler, but it pales in comparison, I'm sure, to what those further north are experiencing. Here it feels like the start of fall. Maybe I'll have an overcoat out by January...

It's currently 47 here. So it was probably mid-high 50s during the day. I do love winter so I really don't mind! :D

I was stroking sweaters in a shop today; I love to knit them, but I don't think I'll have quite the same need here as I even did when I lived in N. Georgia!

Oh, you'd be surprised about knitting! My first piece was atrocious, but 6 years later I'm knitting all sorts of things. Took loads of practice.
