BTT: 5 for Favorites

I'm glad that today's Booking Through Thursday comes in handy list form: I need structure to survive when end of term rolls around!
OK, so this one is pretty easy for me...
Question 1: Do you have a favorite author?
Yes. I actually have several I quite like very much. I could be a real prat right now and refuse to give a name, since the question is phrased for yes or no responses, but I get enough of that at work so I'll say that today, at 11:32 a.m. Jane Austen is my favorite. She'll likely be my favorite for some time.
Question 2: Have you read everything he or she has written?
In the general sense, yes: I've read all the novels and the fragments. In a specific sense, no: I've not read all letters, and I don't think I'll ever see a collection of her laundry lists or scribbled recipes--assuming that she scribbled any.
Question 3: Did you LIKE everything?
Yes.
Question 4: How about a least favorite author?
This one's easy too. Ernest Hemingway. Don't ask me why; I haven't sorted that out yet because I refuse to read him. Maybe when I'm old and gray...
Question 5: An author you wanted to like, but didn't?
Percy Bysshe Shelley. I should love him, but I just can't. I try. I teach his poetry. I enjoy some of his writing (particularly his play, The Cenci, which just means I need to see a shrink...), but on the whole I find him tedious.
Well, that was snarktastic, wasn't it? I think it's time for me to get some lunch!
